PFC Corofil Open State Barrier COSB 44 is a stone wool fire barrier engineered for ventilated façade systems with a 44 mm air gap.
This open‑state barrier combines a high‑density stone wool core with an integral high‑expansion intumescent strip fixed to the leading edge. Under normal conditions it allows ventilation and drainage, but in the event of fire the intumescent strip expands to close off the gap and help prevent fire and smoke spread.
