Façadeshield UV is a durable membrane built for open-joint façades.
Façadeshield UV provides water and UV resistance while allowing vapour to pass through the building fabric. Its dark, anti-glare finish creates a shadow appearance behind rainscreen cladding, and it’s suitable for exposed façade conditions, offering Class W1 water resistance and an airtight yet highly permeable structure.

Façadeshield UV is used behind open joint cladding systems where breathable, weather resistant protection is required.
It sits behind the cladding to protect the external wall build-up while allowing vapour to pass through the structure. The dark finish creates a consistent shadow line behind open joints, helping maintain a uniform appearance across the façade.
