Rockwool Wall DD Slab
Rockwool External Wall DD Slab is a dual-density stone wool insulation slab engineered for external wall insulation systems.
Each slab has a higher-density outer face for the application of fixings, while the softer underside accommodates unevenness in the substrate. Once installed with tightly jointed edges, the slabs knit together to form a continuous insulating layer with no gaps.

Rockwool External Wall DD Slab is designed for use within external wall insulation (EWI) systems on new build and refurbishment projects.
The slab’s dual-density construction gives a firm surface for fixings on the outer face, while the softer underside sits comfortably against uneven substrates. A pre-installation trial is recommended to confirm the substrate can be covered without gaps forming between slabs.
Manufactured from non-combustible stone wool with a Euroclass A1 fire rating, External Wall DD Slab helps deliver consistent thermal performance across the building envelope once installed as part of a complete EWI system.
