DuPont Tyvek® Housewrap
Tyvek Housewrap is a breathable membrane for external wall and timber frame construction.
Tyvek Housewrap protects wall build-ups from wind-driven rain and air leakage while allowing water vapour to escape from the structure. Made from high-density polyethylene fibres, it’s highly permeable to water vapour, lightweight, flexible and easy to install, and can be left uncovered for up to four months while retaining full performance.

Tyvek® Housewrap is used as a surface-applied membrane in external wall construction.
It is fixed directly to sheathing, insulation or blockwork and provides protection against wind driven rain while allowing vapour to pass through the wall build-up. It is suitable for use in new build, refurbishment and extension projects.
It is made from high-density polyethylene fibres and designed for long-term use behind cladding systems.
