DuPont Tyvek® FireCurb®
DuPont™ Tyvek® FireCurb® is a fire retardant breather membrane for external wall and rainscreen façade systems.
Tyvek FireCurb is vapour permeable with a halogen-free, flame-retardant coating that self-extinguishes when ignited and reduces smoke and burning droplets. It protects wall build-ups from wind-driven rain and moisture while adding an extra level of fire safety to the external envelope, and is CE marked, BBA certified and independently tested for façade use.

DuPont™ Tyvek™ FireCurb® is used behind façades in external wall construction where a fire retardant breather membrane is required.
It is vapour open and watertight, with a halogen-free coating that self-extinguishes when ignited and helps reduce smoke and droplets in the event of fire. It provides reliable protection to the wall build-up while maintaining breathability within the external envelope.
It is suitable for use across a wide range of building types and is commonly installed in timber frame and rainscreen façade systems as part of the external wall build-up behind cladding.
