Rockwool Steel Frame Slab
Rockwool Steel Frame Slab is a semi-rigid stone wool insulation designed for use between the studs in light gauge steel frame wall constructions.
The slab is sized to friction fit into 600mm steel studs without the need to cut or create waste, and can be trimmed with a sharp knife where awkward spaces need to be filled. This keeps installation quick while helping maintain consistent thermal performance across the wall.

Rockwool Steel Frame Slab is designed for use within light gauge steel frame walls where thermal, acoustic and fire performance are all required.
The slab is fitted between the studs as part of the wall build-up, with its friction-fit format helping installers achieve a close fit without unnecessary cutting or waste on site.
Manufactured from non-combustible stone wool, Steel Frame Slab carries a Euroclass A1 fire rating and is suitable for use across light gauge steel frame walls and cladded façades on both new build and refurbishment projects.
