AIM Open State Carrier Barrier
AIM Open State Cavity Barriers are open-state fire barriers for ventilated rainscreen façades, allowing airflow under normal conditions.
Manufactured from high density rock mineral wool with an intumescent facing strip, the barrier expands in fire to close the cavity and restrict the passage of flames and smoke. It is designed for use within ventilated external wall constructions where airflow and drainage are required.

- Tested to ASFP TGD 19 and BS EN 1363-1 principles, IFC certified

The system is suitable for use in ventilated external wall constructions, including steel frame, timber frame and masonry backed façades, where open cavities are required during normal service conditions
