illbruck ME013 FR is a fire-rated breather membrane for rainscreen façades.
illbruck ME013 FR Breather Membrane Black is a façade membrane for ventilated rainscreen and cladding systems. It’s used on external wall build-ups to help protect against wind-driven rain while allowing moisture to escape from the construction, and is airtight, water resistant (W1), and suitable for use where a durable breather membrane is required behind the façade.
- Class B-s1, d0 to EN 13501-1
- UV-resistant up to 3 months prior to cladding
- Highly vapour open and breathable
- Air- and weathertight immediately after installation
illbruck ME013 FR is used as a full façade breather membrane in new build and refurbishment projects.
It helps manage moisture within the wall build-up while protecting the construction from external weather exposure. This supports the performance of the façade system by helping maintain stable conditions within the wall assembly over time.
The membrane is UV resistant for up to 3 months and is easy to cut and install on site, making it suitable for typical façade programmes where speed and reliability matter.
