Knauf Rocksilk® RainScreen Slab
Knauf Rocksilk® RainScreen Slab is a rock mineral wool insulation slab designed for use behind ventilated rainscreen façade systems.
Designed as sheathing insulation, it is suitable for a wide range of façade build-ups across buildings of all heights. The slab is non-combustible with a Euroclass A1 fire classification and includes a water-repellent additive to help resist moisture ingress during construction.

Knauf Rocksilk® RainScreen Slab is designed for installation behind ventilated cladding systems.
The slab is installed as part of the external wall build-up, positioned behind the rainscreen cavity and external cladding. Available in a range of thicknesses, it can be used across different façade constructions including steel frame and masonry-based systems.
Its rock mineral wool construction provides a robust insulation layer while allowing the slab to accommodate minor irregularities in the substrate. The water-repellent treatment helps maintain performance during construction, making it suitable for commercial, residential and high-rise façade applications.
