Rockwool SP Firestop OSCB 25
Rockwool SP Firestop OSCB 25 is an open-state cavity barrier for ventilated façades, providing fire stopping while maintaining an open cavity.
It consists of a continuous intumescent strip fixed to high density non-combustible stone wool insulation at the leading edge of a foil-faced barrier, encapsulated in a weather-resistant polythene sleeve.

A high-performance open-state cavity barrier for ventilated rainscreen façades, designed to maintain airflow while providing fire protection within the building envelope.
SP FireStop OSCB 25 uses a high-density non-combustible stone wool core with a continuous intumescent strip at the leading edge, encapsulated in a foil-faced and weather-resistant sleeve. In the event of fire, the intumescent expands to seal the cavity and prevent the passage of fire and smoke.
Installed horizontally, the barrier maintains an open air space under normal conditions and is suitable for cavity widths up to 600mm. It is designed for use with ROCKWOOL® RainScreen® Duo Slab and NyRock® RainScreen 032 within approved rainscreen systems.
