illbruck ME050 FR Breather Membrane ALU is a reflective façade breather membrane designed for ventilated cladding systems. It provides water resistance and vapour permeability, helping protect external wall build-ups from moisture while allowing moisture vapour to escape, and also supports airtight construction in insulated façade systems.

Illbruck ME050 FR is used behind external cladding systems where weather protection, vapour control and airtightness are required.
It is water resistant (W1) and vapour permeable, helping manage moisture within the wall build-up while supporting insulation performance. The membrane is UV resistant for up to 9 months when exposed and remains stable when covered, including behind open-jointed cladding. It also provides airtight performance suitable for façade applications where consistency and reliability are required.
The membrane is supplied with integral adhesive strips at the top and bottom of the roll, allowing horizontal overlaps to be sealed without additional tapes. It is used across commercial and residential ventilated façade systems where a straightforward installation process and consistent envelope performance are required.
