Tenmat VFB Plus
TENMAT VFB Plus Ventilated Cavity Fire Barrier is an open-state fire barrier designed for ventilated wall cavities up to 450mm wide.
The barrier consists of a fire-rated stone mineral wool section with a high-expansion intumescent seal along the leading edge. A 44mm air gap is maintained for ventilation and drainage during normal use, while in a fire the intumescent expands to close the cavity and help prevent vertical fire spread.

The VFB Plus barrier is designed for ventilated wall cavities where airflow is maintained under normal conditions, while compartmentation is achieved in the event of fire. Its stone mineral wool core and intumescent seal provide stable performance within the cavity.
Suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects, the barrier is used in external wall systems requiring open-state cavity fire protection.
