Tenmat VFB 60/60
TENMAT VFB 60/60 Ventilated Cavity Fire Barrier is an open-state stone wool fire barrier designed for ventilated wall cavities up to 450 mm wide.
The product features a fire-rated stone mineral wool core with an integral high-expansion intumescent edge. It allows a 25 mm air gap for ventilation and drainage under normal conditions, while in a fire the intumescent edge expands to seal the cavity and maintain compartmentation.

VFB 60/60 is built from stone wool and designed to sit within ventilated wall cavities up to 450mm wide, maintaining a 25mm air gap for drainage and airflow under normal conditions.
When exposed to fire, the barrier closes that gap to stop flame and smoke tracking along the cavity into adjoining compartments, while the wider cavity tolerance gives specifiers more flexibility at the design stage.
