Gordian supplies façade materials for the new Whittle GP Surgery on Preston Road in Chorley, a replacement for the former surgery building which had reached capacity.
The project uses Trespa Wood Decors NW04 for the external cladding, providing a timber-effect finish across the elevations. The material was selected to give a consistent, clean appearance to the building while supporting the practical demands of a modern healthcare facility.
The new surgery provides 10 consulting rooms, treatment rooms, staff facilities and patient areas, along with improved parking and accessibility. GP Whittle has been constructured to BREEAM Excellent standard with an A+ energy rating, and includes solar panels and EV charging points.
