Kingspan QuadCore KS1000RW LEC is a through-fix insulated wall panel designed for façade applications where reduced embodied carbon is a project requirement.
QuadCore KS1000RW LEC is a through-fix insulated wall panel for external wall and façade use. It consists of a profiled steel external sheet, a QuadCore insulation core, and an internal steel liner.
- QuadCore insulation core with thermal conductivity of 0.018 W/m·K
- Core thicknesses from 40 mm to 167 mm
- U-values from 0.47 W/m²K down to 0.11 W/m²K
- Standard panel lengths from 1.8 m to 14.5 m, non-standard up to 29.2 m
- Through-fix trapezoidal insulated wall panel system
Designed as a rigid insulated wall system for external envelopes in both new build and refurbishment projects.
QuadCore KS1000RW LEC forms part of Kingspan’s lower embodied carbon product range. The product is supported by a Life Cycle Assessment showing a reduction in embodied carbon of 24% (A1-A3) and 19% across defined life cycle modules, compared with standard equivalents as stated by the manufacturer.
The trapezoidal profile provides structural rigidity across the panel length, while the QuadCore insulation core contributes to thermal performance within the wall build-up. Installed as a through-fix system, the panel is used where installation speed and efficient spanning between supports are required.
